Condiciones emocionales y psicosociales del personal de salud en contextos de pandemia por Covid-19. Una aproximación a sus metodologías de estudio

Resumen

Con base en criterios estandarizados para la realización de revisiones sistemáticas y metasíntesis, se presenta una revisión bibliográfica de investigaciones cualitativas realizadas entre 2019 y 2022 sobre salud emocional y psicosocial del personal de salud encargado de la atención de casos de Covid-19. Se realizó investigación documental descriptiva-integrativa, con una muestra de ochenta artículos. Se destacan como hallazgos principales: 1) la aparición del miedo como categoría emergente en las descripciones que el personal hizo sobre sus condiciones emocionales y psicosociales durante el período analizado; 2) la presencia de importantes retos metodológicos vinculados no sólo con dificultades de acceso directo y copresencia, sino en un sentido más amplio, con la definición de unidades de observación y estrategias de acercamiento a la dimensión emocional.
